Answers to Frequently asked questions:
- A list of the Kroger (Fry's) stores is on the back of the gift card.
- If a gift card has a zero balance for over 90 days, it will no longer be linked to GMGSO; you will need to get a new gift card.
- You can always find the balance of your gift card by looking at the bottom of your latest receipt or by calling the 800# located on the back of the gift card.
- When you recharge your card, you can either do it at the customer service desk or in the checkout line. If you choose to go the checkout line route, please recharge the card PRIOR to the cashier ringing up your order. Your order and the recharge must be done as separate transactions. Recharges cannot take place within an order.
- You can recharge your gift card as many times as you like and pay with your favorite credit or debit card, cash, or check. (yes -- you can earn miles or other credit perks and help out the team at the same time)
- Every time you recharge the card, the GMGSO earns up to 6% of the amount.
- You can use the card for any items sold at Fry's except: Western Union, lottery tickets, or event tickets.
- When you pay for your groceries, just hit the credit button, slide the card, press yes for the amount and you’re done! If you happen not to have enough money on the card - you simply pay the difference any way you want. Just remember to charge the card before the next time you shop.
- Fry’s Cool Cash program – is linked to your Fry’s VIP card which runs from September 1st through March 31st. If your school participates in the cool cash program, it will get credit through your VIP card at the same time the GMGSO gets credit through the Gift card program. Your school can earn up to $2000 through the Fry’s Cool Cash Program.
